During the services, feel free to take advantage of the Pray ground! The pray ground is a space just off the sanctuary specifically designed for families with small children to be present and engaged in worship. There are toys, games, coloring, etc. for kids to enjoy while parents can still participate in the service.
Special Events
6th-12th Graders are invited to the Great Pumpkin Hunt on Sunday, October 20th. We will leave EPLC at 2:30pm for a scavenger hunt across the northwest suburbs in partnership with Northwest Covenant Church in Mount Prospect. There will be food provided for the event. We will return between 6:30-7pm. Sign up sign up for the great pumpkin hunt here!
Join us for our FREE Mega Music Playdate from 9:30-1:30 on Thursday, October 24th! This is an open house event designed for families who are expecting, or have children who are infants through kindergarteners. Come take a Kitty-Orca Music Class, make crafts, play "The Floor is Lava", free-play with nursery toys, enjoy free snacks and beverages, and more!! RSVp for The mega music playdate here!!
Come to Trunk or Treat at EPLC!! It will be held from 3-5pm on Saturday, October 25th in EPLC's side parking lot. Email youth@edisonparkchurch.com to sign up your car (while spots last), or to make a candy Donation.
Fall 2024 Youth Programming
Blast will be available for Pre-K through 2nd graders and meet from 5-6pm. Pathfinders will be from 3rd-6th grade, and will meet from 6:15-7:15pm. If your child brings a friend who has not yet been to EPLC before to either of these programs, both kids will get a chance to win a prize!
Confirmation class will be available for 7th and 8th grade students from 7:30-8:45 on Wednesday nights!
The Toddler Play Group will meet from 10am-12pm every Thursday in our nursery. Toddler Play Group resumes Thursday, September 5th 2024.
Alpha is our 7-12th grade ministry, and will meet from 6:30-8:30 in the youth room every Sunday evening.
Sunday school will be offered every week for students in Pre-K through 4th grade! It will begin at 10am between the 9am and 11am services. Sign ups are not necessary for Sunday School; we would love to see your kids any weeks that you’re around!
First Communion Classes will also be offered on Sunday mornings at 10am, and will be available for students in grades 1st-6th.This class will consist of four Sunday morning sessions, and there will be two classes you can choose from: either September 15th-October 4th, or October 20th-November 10th. Since there is only four sessions, be sure to sign up to one that you can commit to being at each consecutive week if possible! There will also be several retreats offered in the fall and spring of the 2024-25 School year, for kids of all ages from 3rd grade-12th grade. Reach out to Kaya for dates and sign up information.
